You've all been had Jul 26, 2017

Apparently, our desire to help trumps (no pun intended) our logic: none of us stop to think that anyone, even a teenager, can drop in on Proz, open a fake free profile account and start asking questions. Just for the fun of it.

To me, the red flags are:

1) Silly or computer-generated username
2) Empty profile

I suggest we take a harder look at the asker before offering help so indiscriminately.

I think the daft responses have given *us* all a little fun and after all, that's what silly season is for. (although we have covered our backs by asking serious questions too just in case)

I'm just peeved that everybody's going on about Tralasol, completely ignoring my infinitely superior GeLaSol. I mean, who wouldn't want to spread that all over for instant suntanning?

Totally Nifty Translations. That way you can shorten it to "TNT (we're dynamite!!!)" at the top of the website.

Small variation on Tralasol, with great marketing potential.

According to the Oxford dictionary:

trolol - noun, invariable
1. An online troll others laugh at.
2. Obscure Canadian language services company.

Almost Jul 26, 2017

Almost, but not quite. Sounds like a British tourist who's had too much sangria and is asking for a parasol.
My advice would be, if you don't know the words, just hum the tune.

Where do you get these funny videos, Mirko? Although the Hitler calling the Trolol guy is quite a chuckle.

From the serious side Jul 26, 2017

Dear Yabu,

As you see from all our funny colleagues, this is absolutely a wrong question to ask. Whatever name you want to use, you have to come up with it your selve.

The best advice I can give you: "Use your imagination!"
