Bio
Translation
After finishing my studies (Dutch and Translation Studies), I started working as a freelance translator in 2005. I soon specialized in Belgian legal translations which today cover about 50% of my working time. I also translate texts of various other fields. Besides, I am translating classical Dutch literature, such as novels of the Flemish fin de siècle writer Cyriel Buysse. From time to time, I write a book.

Personal
I am what people call a digital nomad. Together with my wife and our four children, I am travelling constantly, never staying more than a few months at the same place.
