Ctrl + 1 inserts the first match, Ctrl + 2 inserts the second one and so on. If that doesn't work, check your shortcuts: File - Options - Keyboard Shortcuts, and find "Select Match 1", "Select Match 2", etc. in the Action column to see which shortcuts are active in your system. | | | Angel Llacuna Spain Local time: 11:41 English to Spanish TOPIC STARTER

The "number" in question is the number along the top of the keyboard, not on the number pad | May 9, 2018 |
Hello, I came across this post because I was having the same issue, but I've worked out the reason/solution: In your shortcuts table: Ctrl+1 means the Ctrl key + the number 1 key along the top of your keyboard Ctrl+NumPad1 means the Ctrl key + the number 1 key on your number pad Probably a bit late for the original poster, but perhaps this will help somebody else who comes looking for help in the future...
