I truthfully haven't noticed it.

Only pharma, medical, and related technical fields.

Some growth in entertainment (games, subtitles, related materials), but that seems to have been countered by the influx of people looking for new remote work opportunities.

At least pharma and medical texts scare the noobs.

For me, it has improved May 10, 2021

Actually, my business is flourishing since the pandemic started.
Not only was I able to retain all of my clients, they also give me more assignments and I was even able to acquire a couple of new clients.
Maybe it depends on the field(s) of expertise (mine are technical, architecture, marketing).

Improvement? No. Let’s say that business has remained more or less the same, meaning that the road has been as bumpy as ever (I had a lousy May 2020 and April 2021, but nothing that I haven’t seen before). Yet, I did notice a big drop for obvious reasons on translation demand from my consumer-goods clients.
