And she follows her family's religion Explanation: Religion is mainly about following a certain belief. In other words, humans normally follow the religion of their parents, and in the future things might change. |

she follows their embrace Explanation: Given the fact that the translation of the preceding phrase would contain the words 'her", "family", "embrace" and "religion, it would sound somewhat odd in English to once again repeat the same wording. That is why I believe that the translation of this idiomatic Arabic expression غلى دين أهلها in this specific context can be rendered as "she follows their embrace". This is while taking into consideration the addition of some adverbial conjunction such as, likewise, yet, still, or nevertheless…etc; something which a native speaker is more at home to find out which is which and the most appropriate amongst them. |
