Asker: I disagree with actualise... and agree with Christine. According to my dictionary, actualise implies 1) to give reality to, make real and concrete, and 2) to represent or describe realistically. Det danske 'aktualiserer' er tids-relateret (ligesom aktuelt menes noget der er relevant i nuet).... en haendelse der sker nu, som goer en tidligere haendelse eller teori 'aktuel'; aktualiserer den. Det engelske 'actual' er mere relateret til 'faktisk', som Christine skriver. Topicalise kan maaske bruges, men er ikke helt i plet.

agree  Christine Andersen: Du har ret mht. finans (Regnskabsordbogen). Men actuel/actual KAN være falske venner - ´faktisk´ på dansk er nærmere det engelske actual. (= eksisterende, neutral over for interesse eller vigtighed). (Oxford, Nudansk) Men jeg kan lide dine andre forslag.
