Anybody know the proper term for this? Maybe it means A shaped roof, but from the pictures it is flat...

(de oven)....wordt uitgevoerd met effectieve energie besparende luchtsluizen, A-kappen, draai-, schuif- of hefdeuren....

neutral  Barend van Zadelhoff: I tried to find confirmation for this, even before you came up with this suggestion. I could not find any. Also, images didn't help either. It's no more than a shot in the dark. Apart from this, it doesn't seem a likely abbreviation for 'afzuigkkappen'
