Iemand komt de ochtend na het stappen in haar cluboutfit thuis. Haar huisgenoot ziet haar op straat aankomen en zegt: "Walk of shame? Me too."

Hier wordt natuurlijk bedoeld: de volgende ochtend thuiskomen na een onenightstand. Maar is daar een betere Nederlandse uitdrukking cq Nederlands woord voor?

Ik zou de verwijzing naar 'de daad' impliciet houden - walk of shame is in feite een eufemisme dus om het beestje dan heel plat bij zijn naam te noemen in het Nls vind ik wat te sterk klinken (ligt uiteraard ook aan context).

agree  Barend van Zadelhoff: "Walk of shame? Me too." lijkt op laconiciteit te duiden, er lollig over doen (natuurlijk allemaal binnen deze 'phoney' context van 'amusement') en je zou er hier een invulling in deze trant aan kunnen geven. What's his tone of voice and face like.

The walk of shame refers to a situation in which a person must walk past strangers or peers alone for an embarrassing reason before reaching a place of privacy. It often occurs the morning after a night out at a bar, nightclub, or party. People undertaking the walk of shame are understood to have spent the night at the residence of a sexual partner (or perceived sexual partner), particularly a one-night stand. The topic is often the subject of college newspaper commentary. The "walker" may often be identified by his or her disheveled appearance and incongruous evening attire, particularly on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
