Notes to answerer

Reference

Reference information:
comprehensive critical illness insurance = uitgebreide verzekering voor ernstige ziekten

Critical Illness Insurance — a limited form of health insurance that pays a lump sum if the named insured is diagnosed as having one of the specific life-threatening conditions defined in the policy. Critical illness insurance is sometimes combined with life insurance, where the policy pays its benefits if the insured is diagnosed with a listed critical illness or when the insured dies, whichever happens first.

Most critical illness policies cover the illnesses of advanced cases of cancer, severe heart attack, and stroke that results in permanent symptoms.

Comprehensive critical illness policies cover such additional illnesses as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, severe burns, bypass surgery, renal failure, Alzheimer's, angioplasty, loss of sight, permanent loss of hearing, and organ transplant.

Some critical illness policies provide coverage against the loss of a limb. Most critical illness policies will not cover any claims made as a result of self-inflicted injury or alcohol or drug abuse.

--------------------------------------------------

A Critical Illness plan is a type of insurance product that pays out a lump sum payment when a policyholder is diagnosed with an illness covered by the policy. The payment does not depend on the policyholder incurring any medical costs or hospitalization admission for the treatment. The money is simply given, with the policyholder having full discretion on what they want to do with it.

Here is the thing about a regular Critical Illness plan. Just because you are diagnosed with an illness covered by the policy does not mean you can automatically claim on it. A regular Critical Illness policy only pays out on the policy upon an individual being diagnosed with an illness that has reached a certain stage, as defined by medical doctors.

The Benefits Of Early Stage Critical Illness Plan
Unlike a regular Critical Illness Plan, an Early Stage Critical Illness plan allows policyholders to claim payouts from their policy upon the diagnoses of any of the illnesses covered under the policy, regardless of the stage of the illness.

Being diagnosed with any of the illnesses is a bad enough situation as it is. An early stage critical illness ensures that a payout is guaranteed, rather than waiting for their illness to develop to the later stages before being allowed to receive the payouts.

Waar het dan op neer lijkt te komen, is:

Early Stage Critical Illness Plan/Insurance
