Dear Translator,

I am translating this russian contract, it says:

Venture is a legal person according to the Soviet legislature. It is created and acts according to the Soviet legislature, this Contract and the Statute, which is an integral part of the Contract.

I think Statute here actually refers to Statuts de l'entreprise car il y est écrit :
Article 1- Création de l'entreprise, article 2 - Objet de l'entreprise, article 3, statut juridique, etc...

What do you think about it?

Thanks,
VeroniquePhelut

Notes to answerer

neutral  Daryo: yes, but wrong explanation - it means the "Articles of Association" // "the statute of the company" is a "false-friend" - statutes are LAWS, not private contracts.

agree  AllegroTrans: Yes, but NOT "statute of the company" - un vrai faux ami; Dariyo could have the good grace to give you an "agree"
