this "calculation lead waveform" is kind of "virtual waveform" that corresponds to a "calculated / aggregated" value combined from the readings of the 12 physical leads.

It's a kind of "summary reading" calculated from the readings of the 12 "real" leads, so you don't need to look at all these 12 waveforms - this "calculated summary" should be enough.

As a matter of general principle, a "calculated" value can not be "read" directly - it can't be "primary data", only "derived data" - derived from "primary data / readings".

Oh yes, I see what you mean: a special lead used for calculation; in so many ways, yes, that would make a lot more sense. Sorry I can't be more help!

Merci Tony, je comprends ce que tu veux dire, mais en jargon technique je m'attendrais alors à lire "reference lead", l'électrode de référence. Cela dit....traduire ?

Not a medical expert, but I would interpret it as being a single waveform that has been calculated from other actual 'lead' (wire) waveforms — for example, you might take one waveform away from another to reveal something through the difference between them.
