English term or phrase: alpha splitting

I am translating the statistics section of a clinical study protocol and came across the description, "The type I error will be controlled by flexible alpha splitting and alpha recycling."

Alpha splitting is a mathematical procedure for correcting the type I error (alpha) for multiple testing, in order to avoid false positives by simply testing often enough to get a significant result by chance. There are not too many, but quite solid references for the English term as this seems to be a recent statistical development. My problem is that I find neither evidence for the English term being used in German (as is often the case with statistics) nor evidence for some equivalent German term.
(NB: During my search, I also came across the alternative method of alpha exhaustive multiple testing. I don't need this one for my current text, but would be interested to learn about the German translation of "alpha exhaustive" out of curiosity and for further reference.)

Explanation:
Neben Bonferroni gibt es tatsächlich noch andere Methoden - die habe ich gestern auch gefunden.

Besonders innovativ ist diese Lösung jetzt nicht und wahrscheinlich hast du sie ja auch schon entdeckt ;-).

Danke, Susanne und Matthias! Auf Bonferroni bezieht sich diese spezielle Auswertung in der Tat (den Namen hätte ich in der Frage wohl besser auch noch erwähnen sollen!), aber ich hatte bei meiner Recherche 1. den Eindruck, dass es auch noch andere "Alpha-Splitting"-Verfahren gibt, und 2. keinerlei Erfolg mit der Suche nach "Alpha-Splitting" in Texten zum Bonferroni-Verfahren. Da kommt eben immer nur "Korrektur" oder "Adjustierung" vor :-(( Und das kann ich nicht in allen Fällen sinnvoll verwenden, wo in meinem englischen Text alpha splitting vorkommt. Aber wenn euch "Alpha Splitting" oder ein deutsches Pendant dazu auch noch nicht untergekommen ist, habe ich ja zumindest nichts Grobes übersehen und werde wahrscheinlich je nach Zusammenhang mal den englischen Begriff nehmen und mal eine Umschreibung.
Falls noch irgendjemand eine Antwort eingeben möchte, für's Glossar und für die Pünktchen...

Ich hätte vermutlich auch Alpha-Adjustierung [nach Bonferroni] vorgeschlagen, wenn ich Zeit zum Belegesuchen gehabt hätte. Die scheint genau so zu funktionieren: Bei 4 Tests wird die gewünschte gesamte Irrtumswahrscheinlichkeit für jeden einzelnen Test durch 4 geteilt, also quasi auf die 4 Tests aufgeteilt.

"Alpha Splitting" findet man auch im Zusammenhang mit Bonferroni, z. B. hier: "Bonferroni alpha-Splitting correction" https://books.google.de/books?id=rmQnhfSYOuAC&pg=PT583&lpg=P...

Das ist bei deinem Text wahrscheinlich nicht gemeint, aber vielleicht lässt sich in deutschen Quellen eine Übersetzung für das Alpha-Splitting im Zusammenhang mit der Bonferroni-Korrektur finden.

Danke Marga! im Zusammenhang mit "Halbierungsmethode" komme ich allerdings auf lauter Texte, die von einem anderen "Alpha" als dem Typ-I-Fehler sprechen (Cronbach Alpha, als Maß der Reliabilität) :-((

Ich bin heute ein wenig unter Druck, um nachzusehen, aber versuche einmal mit "Halbierungsmethode" und "alpha-Fehler" zu suchen. Ich glaube, mich an etwas in dieser Richtung zu erinnern.
