prøvetaking i rett vinkel / ortogonale Explanation: "cruciform" sampling is done on two perpendicular axes x and y. It's less clear what "template" sampling is, but my impression is that here it's a generalization to axes in n-dimensional space - see e.g. "A review of methods for spike sorting: the detection and classification of neural action potentials", Lewicki, Michael S. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2015-05-28 10:27:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- If it's for a statistical audience, you could maybe use something like "cruciform" (korsformet)? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2015-05-28 10:48:44 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "grid prøvetaking" might be an option for cruciform - this is common in agricultural and sea-floor sampling. It hard to be sure what's meant by template though! |
