Komisurotomia – zabieg chirurgiczny polegający na przecięciu spoideł mózgowych łączących półkule mózgu[1]. Wykorzystuje się go do łagodzenia objawów padaczki, ponieważ ogranicza rozprzestrzenianie się ataków epileptycznych pomiędzy półkulami. Ogranicza także przepływ informacji pomiędzy nimi, co wiąże się z występowaniem objawów zespołów spoidłowych.
