For blastholes, depending upon the length or depth, detonators may be placed at the end, also referred to as the “toe,” of the blasthole and at the beginning of the emulsion explosives.

TOE - The unbroken rock, higher than floor or bench grade, left in front of a detonated hole or row. It results in
uneven floor, and is usually controlled through subdrilling.

Wstępnie mam dwa typy - „przodek" albo "„spąg", ale jak na razie studiuję te dwa terminy, czy są na pewno merytorycznymi odpowiednikami "toe" w przypadku otworów strzałowych.
