Buenas tardes,

Estoy traduciendo una guía de una marca de medicamentos naturales.
En el apartado donde hablan sobre el tipo de fuente, colores, etc., que
se debe utilizar en el logo de dicha marca, aparece la palabra "stage",
que definen como "A visual element to provide a strong support and stability for communication"
y se refiere al recuadro de color sobre el que aparece el nombre de la marca en blanco.

Más adelante aparece lo siguiente:

"The green stage has multiple functions and can be used as needed.
It can be applied as a stage for the packshot, which provides, as the layout allows, strong support for the package.
In addition the area may be used to define content-specific borders or demarcations.
The area may be applied horizon- tal as well as vertical.
In any case it has to be used in full bleed..."

¿Alguien me puede decir cuál es la palabra adecuada para "stage" en español en este contexto?
(he pensado en recuadro, escenario,... pero puede que haya otra palabra más adecuada)
