Hello!

The term appears in the maintenance description for slab tracks, the text specifically talks about repair methods. I don't really know how to translate "packer". Does anyone have an idea?

Context:

First the drill for the packers must be carried out in an angle of 45° to the vertical axis on one side of the sleeper.

The so called adhesive packers (injection nozzle, see ) are to be fixed (by means of suitable adhesive) above the crack.
