Thanks for your help. I'm hoping that there is an interesting and not too long translation for this familiar/friendly send off. I hope to make the Swedish version my license "number" on a Saab.

vi ses!
Explanation:
...is the translation for "see you!". There is nothing slangy about it I'm afraid (it has no misspelling as in English 'ya'). There is no natural candidate for this one I am afraid.

HEJ DÅ is the standard goodbye phrase, but it does not look very snappy.

In the world of internet abbreviations, there is "cs" which is an intentional misspelling of "ses", but that is too short for a license plate.

"Ses då!" (Stockholm slang) might be an alternative, but I think Kristinas "Tjena!" is pretty good for a license plate - it is a slangy greeting phrase which can also be used similarly to the English "HELLO!" (Wake-up call, reality check). If it isn't already taken, maybe you should go for that.

see ya!
Morsning! Tjenare! Tja ba!

Explanation:
Various other alternatives as well. These all have more of a greeting connotation than does See ya!, but maybe they could work.

disagree  Erik Hansson: I understand See ya! as a phrase you say when leaving.. thus the two first suggestions don't fit in here. The 3rd suggestion is **really** slang

-> You are right, though I think you could probably keep Morsning as a casual bye. Don´t know about the intended meaning of See ya! on a car number plate, so was refraining from anything more than this.

agree  EKM: Tjena!

Explanation:
... kan man ju säga - men om man skulle skriva det...
Annars, om det inte måste vara slang, tycker jag att "vi ses" passar!
