English term or phrase: Rubber Lug Sole
Bramani is credited with inventing the first rubber lug soles for shoes. These soles were first used on mountaineering boots, replacing leather soles fitted with hobnails or steel cleats, commonly used up until then.

"Lug soles" are a type of outer sole found on heavy-duty and utility shoes such as hiking boots or work boots.

ربڑ کے کگری تلوے
Explanation:
For rubber and sole, translation is obvious but for lug, it is much challenging. There is a word in Punjabi کگر (a protruding part of an object which helps in providing traction) which is exactly the same as is in English "lug". Good thing is it is also used in Urdu so I have suggested the above term.

Your given sentence will be like:
برامانی کو یہ اعزاز حاصل ہے کہ انہوں نے پہلی بار ربڑ کے کگری تلوے متعارف کروائے۔

عباس صاحب اگر آپ کگر کے معنوں سے آشنا ہیں تو یہ لفظ بذات خود بہت تفصیل سے lug کے معنی کی وضاحت کررہا ہے۔

I have seen in google images and کگر is very precise word for that structure on shoe soles.

My position on this is different. Every new term entering into Urdu (terms which have no equivalent translations in Urdu) has a chance whether we (linguists) can enrich Urdu with new words (which is so devoid of words that half of modern Urdu comprises of English words) or we can keep transliteration or explanations. Every term is new for layman when it is introduced in a language but with the passage of time it becomes part of that language. Consider the vast ocean of IT terms that we are seeing these days. Twenty or Thirty years ago these words had totally different meanings. But when someone says " I am going to buy a mouse from the market" everyone understands that he is not referring to animal but to a device used in computers.

آپ نے درست کہا '۔مضبوط زمینی پکڑ والے ربڑ کے تلے' نسبتاً بہتر ہے۔ تاہم اکرام صاحب کے تجویز کردہ لفظ' کگری تلوے' پر بھی غور کر لیں۔
ایک اور لفظ ۔'کھردرے ربڑ کے تلے یا تلوے ' بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔

Asker: I agree Muhammad Ikram has come with good single word but it lacks the meaningfulness which your translation have. Let us try to describe structure of Lug sole, a middle way!

Asker: For Lug there is another word, probably from Punjabi, Called "Guddi" but that is itself unfamiliar for most people.

Asker: Please check in google imges.

Asker: I agree it is proper translation of Lug but we need translation of "Rubber Lug Sole" which can ideally describe the functionality of being Lug, like Aburiaz has come up with. I mean if I say میرے جوتےربڑکے کگری تلےوالےہیں will it be understandable to a layman? I hope we can come up with even better option. Please look closely at structure of Lug sole and Lug Tyre etc.

rubber lug sole
گرفت والے ربڑ کے تلوے | ربر لگ سول

Explanation:
