Ik zou de term niet vertalen. Guimauves zijn snoepjes die lijken op marshmallows, maar ze zijn iets harder. Ze worden vooral gemaakt in de vorm van "klompen" (lichtbruin) of "mariakes" (of onzelievevrouwkes) die de vorm van een mariabeeld hebben en bestaan in alle pastelkleuren.
