unfurnished or uninhabitable accommodation

Explanation:
The adjective 'nu' which means null, or not legally valid, when used to describe accommodation, suggests that a place can be deemed as not property but as a hovel used for emergency purposes such as homelessness. Presumably someone intends to furnish the null or unfurnished accommodation to make it be viable for letting purposes.

--------------------------------------------------

A place is uninhabitable while it is not furnished. The adjective 'nu' which means 'nul' describing the accommodation explains that the place is not valid legally for accommodation until it is furnished.

Any 'logement nu' is 'bare housing', 'bare dwelling' or 'bare accommodation'. One believes that people don't find bare accommodation to be habitable until it is furnished with necessities.

disagree  Tony M: There is nothing in the source text to justify the idea of 'uninhabitable' — which would be of dubious legality anyway!

disagree  AllegroTrans: did you read the first answer? have you considered posting an 'agree' to it? do you really think this is a lease of a hovel??

disagree  Yvonne Gallagher: Absolutely not. Consider agreeing with correct answers rather than posting nonsense

neutral  Ben Gaia: no need to mudsling Yvonne, it's not nonsense, it is an expansion of our understandng of the French term. Let's stay polite and appreciate each others insights.

disagree  Daryo: "BAIL DE LOCATION ..." = who would want a property presented as "not fit for being inhabited"? Believe or not, some people actually WANT unfurnished properties - you misinterpreted "nu" by extrapolating you own assumptions / preferences on everyone.
