Je voulais avoir votre avis sur le terme "officiant" au sens de personne au service du culte (ici hindou) qui exécute les rites.

Je voudrais éviter les "temple servant" et "priest", est-ce qu'il y a un autre mot?

agree  David Hayes: I suppose you had to share your discovery that the word 'prêtre' exists in French with someone. Priests can be officiants, but not all officiants are priests. I was just making sure that the asker was aware of that.

  -> Thanks David. If there were 100 priests present, the "officiant" would be the one officiating at the service or ceremony. The word "prêtre" exists in French too.
