"Niche market" θεωρείται ένα μικρό τμήμα της αγοράς που παρουσιάζει ειδικές ανάγκες ή απαιτήσεις.

Τον δεύτερο όρο τον συναντώ ως "κενό" σε αγορά, δηλαδή ένα τμήμα της αγοράς που δεν ικανοποιείται από συγκεκριμένη προσφορα αγαθών ή υπηρεσιών.

Θα προτιμούσα πάντως το εξειδικευμένη αγορά.
