Je suppose que le "périmètre historique" définit la composition de l'ensemble (des entreprises?) qui a fait l'histoire (du groupe ?)

J'ai trouvé une occurrence de périmètre 'historique' où 'historique' était ainsi, entre guillemets, ce qui me semble démontrer que la notion n'est pas très claire.

Dans plusieurs cas, j'ai pu constater que le "périmètre historique" excluait des entreprises acquises par un groupe, donc des entreprises qui font, certes, partie de son histoire récente mais n'ont pas participé à ses débuts.

historique = hors extensions ?

Il serait peut-être possible de considérer l'"Europe des six", par exemple, comme le "périmètre historique" de l'Europe.
