I was prompted to make a glossary entry when I closed the question and typed 'ledger' into the space available before hitting the submit button. However, it doesn't seem to have worked.

I apologize for the, err, messy delivery earlier today. I hit the Submit button before I was finished typing.

I wanted to say it was my keyboard's fault, but that claim probably wouldn't stand up to scrutiny.

Adrian's account doesn't sound bad then (though the simple ledger, as suggested, seems to be the best option)--because what we have here are allocated (deposit) accounts:

"Calls made on unallocated accounts will be either for the purpose of:
• physical delivery
• to call for all or part of a credit balance to be transferred to a signatory
where the caller has a debit balance, or
• for allocation of precious metals."

It's copied and pasted exactly as it appears in the source text. I'm not sure whether the author has been careless or precise in the use of the forward slash with space after but no space before. There is no Bindestrich after Bestellung, although it would certainly not look out of place.

Is this two terms? Order ledger AND inventory ledger? Or are Bestellung/Maßbuch one thing?
