"In forma sceneggiata" doesn't necessarily mean in the form of a film script. It can also mean, as somebody suggested, "in dramatic form".

I'd say something like: "telling the story above all visually, and even dramatically in scenes, rather than in theoretic or abstract form".

I agree - to interpret it as "sticking to the script" would actually contradict what the writer has said thus far, which encourages dynamism and creativity. I think this is more to do with dramatizing his words and "setting the scene", metaphorically speaking.

The important thing is that this is a verbal pitch, with one or two people invited to pitch the idea. Those pitching are encouraged to use visual and dramatic language and to evoke actual scenes: "We cut back to the boy's home. He's lying in the garage, not moving. The family dog sniffs around him, whining..."

I think a number of the suggestions given would do. I wouldn't be too hung up on quasi as "almost": it can mean "more or less" or "roughly" (as in the English "quasi").

In that case, perhaps I should spell it out so there's no ambiguity. Something like... "you should draw on concrete examples and talk particularly about the project’s graphic elements, so that they almost feel as though they are watching the show there and then"

Like putting on a bit of a performance so that the people you're pitching to almost feel like they're watching the show itself, seeing it the way you do. The focus of the pitch isn't on the idea, which is more abstract, but rather on the experience, which is more concrete.

I think it means getting so into it that you're almost acting out some scenes yourself, voicing different characters, making the facial expressions, and so on. Dramatizing the whole concept. Like:

"So the boss is all gruff and growly and 'profits before people' [voices character] but actually it's all an act and really inside he's a big softie [makes googly eyes]"

Now you know why I'm not a screenwriter but you get the idea!
