Italian term or phrase: crediti finanziari verso istituti di crediti smobilizzabili in breve termine
Hello everyone,

I am unsure of how to translate "smobilizzabili" in this phrase. The phrase is from the consolidated financial statements, under current financial assets.

I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Thank you in advance!

smobilizzabile
factoring: discountable

Explanation:
crediti finanziari verso istituti di crediti smobilizzabili in breve termine : albeit on the cusp of the ten-word asking limit > short-term discountable receivables factored with credit institutions.

Noticing that the factoring process causes a conceptual and ProZ translation problem in other languages, notably French and Portuguese, I doubt the translations of 'available', 'repayable' or 'confirmable lines of credit' of the French equivalent as 'mobilisable' are very helpful.

smobilzzo di credito: 'credit' discount ... di effetti: bill discounting > Garzanti

Example sentence(s):
  • Any losses arising from discounting receivables are included in sundry operating costs danieli.com Le eventuali perdite derivanti da operazioni di smobilizzo crediti vengono iscritte negli oneri diversi di gestione...
  • *factoring* is a financial transaction and a type of debtor finance in which a business sells its accounts receivable (i.e., invoices) to a third party (called a factor) at a *discount*.
