springback Explanation: I am very sorry to be late answering your question. I have looked into several web pages explaining defects in metal machining. Then I found a description "springback" in SlideShare. Then I have also found the description of the defect "シャクレ" in happymakeproject. It says that the ”シャクレ" occurs in drawing or folding (hemming), because of springback. Apparently the phenomenon is the material, which was intended to fold flatly or draw deep, springs back and becomes a bent sheet or shallow concave. I would have translated it as "springback."
