Japanese term

吹き出し

Japanese to English Science Mathematics & Statistics Math question
吹き出し口サイズ、吹き出し風速、吹き出し温度と吸い込み温度の差をそれぞれ1とする

Is 吹き出し talking about a balloon or a transfer grille or a supply opening?

Discussion

Roderick Anderson Mar 17, 2013:
Are you qualified to translate this material? Your CV reads that you've translated full patent documents (some of the hardest material to translate), yet you can't piece together the meaning of ”吹出" in the context of the paragraph? Many of the questions you've asked over the past month or so would require a quick browse through a technical dictionary or a simple Google search.
mentos1 (asker) Mar 17, 2013:
Here, I am just asking about the context of just the above term "吹き出し", it is ambiguous as to whether or not it is a "balloon". I am not asking anyone to translate the sentence. I don't see how this is the same as before.
