disagree  Bjørnar Magnussen: Siviløkonom, which previously was a 4-year-degree, is often referred to as Master, but BI's diplomøkonom is a clear-cut Bachelor.

  -> Absolutely correct. But that doesn’t stop Swedes, and I presume Norwegians too, from referring to it as a “Masters” on their resume. (The justification being that there is a “thesis” required.)
