untreated/unprocessed timber

Explanation:
I think you are right Brigid. Googling unprocessed timber gives a lot of hits to do with countries banning exports/imports of unprocessed or untreated timber

Notes to answerer
Asker: Good morning, Per. Happy new year, BTW! And I haven't disregarded "raw timber", not in the least. After all the input I got from Tariq and Michele I just needed time out. Patience, my child... the day is young and I've still got a few thousand other words to translate while I continue to think ;-). In the meantime, if you could find me a half-decent definition of "rå tømmer" (which surely is the same as "råtommer"?) and "tørr trelast" in the context of shipping, I'd be delighted. Have a nice day!
