В отделке помещений, выкладывая ниши («казы») для вина, мы используем туф, гранит, песчаники.

в мультитране есть перевод, но он относится к другим темам (военная и тд.) Очевидно, это не подходит.

Ellen Kraus Apr 24, 2017: @ a_grabo. I couldnt find a confirmation for what you´re saying. All sources I looked up say that cellaret is a receptable for wine bottles or a case, cabinet, or sideboard with compartments for holding wine bottles.

mk_lab Apr 23, 2017: Я просто исхожу из предположений об этимологии этого слова "казы", которое очень уж похоже на "cases". А называть ячейки cells, конечно логично и правильно. Только не все в языках подчиняется строгим правилам. Многие слова - это простые прямые заимствования

Они оформляются в виде отсеков или углублений/ниш в стеллажах, в которые вставляются эти-самые художественно оформленные cases. Наверное и сами отсеки/ниши называют так же. Сомневаюсь, чтобы это словесо "казы" появилось случайно, само по себе. Наверняка, это перевранные cases
