I don't recall any similar concept from (Public) International or Engineering Contract Law in English but, then again, this could be a new-fangled concoction and invention.

We, Transatlantically, need to know what the Protocol contains, like a ban on slave labo(u)r - or the cuidado refers to the standard of contractual, tort or professional - or Catalonian civico-ethical - care to be exercised by the parties.

  -> It's the ethics that are joint. The Standard of Care is an optional inclusion, so can be excluded to make the answer terser. BTW, it's cuidado and not ciudad.

  -> My focus had been on Joint Ethical Protocol as no clarification so far of what the latter contains.
