En el altar más alto se coloca el símbolo más importante de la Cruz, un crucifijo con un espejo detrás. En el suelo se coloca mastranto, una planta aromática que se encuentra en las zonas húmedas del pueblo y encima se colocan unas ofrendas de frutos del tiempo, flores, muñecos y *un pero* con unas tijeras clavadas. Existe la creencia de que las tijeras clavadas en *el pero* son para que aquella persona que le ponga falta a la Cruz se le corte la lengua. En los laterales de los altares se colocan jarrones de flores en los que siempre van claveles blancos, y su alrededor va flanqueado por gran cantidad de frondosas macetas.
