Measurement of oxygen concentration and toxic gas levels if entering the interior of the tank

Explanation:
This is one of those cases in translation where I know what they're talking about, but have to be careful not to correct or add too much to what the ST actually says -not to say what they should have said, as it were.
For entry into a confined space, the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires careful attention to atmospheric hazards: "The oxygen concentration, the presence of toxic gases, and flammable material are the three conditions that must be monitored." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confined_space
I think what I suggest is a reasonable compromise, although I am adding a little more than the ST says. For example: ST: "gases" vs. TT: "toxic gas levels"; but otherwise there is the confusion that Phil & Robert discussed, about "gases y oxígeno", when oxygen is clearly also a gas.

Flammable gas detectors can make a valuable contribution to the safety of
these processes. They can be used to trigger alarms if a specified concentration of the gas or vapour is exceeded. This can provide an early warning of a problem and help to ensure people’s safety.

A correction is included here which I inadvertently left out of the equation and a typo in "detección and oxigen"
"detection" of presence of oxygen and gases should anybody be entering the tank

It is not a case of measurement as instruments don't work nicely when dealing with this kind of signal level. It is normally covered with detectors that sense very small quantity of gas leaking in an closed area and alerting the condition.
