TECHNICAL TRANSLATOR
Dear Sir or Madam
I have been working as a full-time translator for 7 years, but I have a previous long 25 years' experience in real construction works.
This has allowed me to start fruitful collaborations right from the beginning.
Based on my previous large background in plant construction for Snamprogetti (ENI group), I was awarded the tender for the translation of TAP pipeline project documentation. Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is the Southern gas corridor for transporting natural gas from the Caspian region to Europe. This project provides for works allocation of 28 billion dollars. This was the first in a long series of assignments regarding pipeline industry and I am currently translating the documentation for the Coastal GasLink pipeline project, British Columbia.
My technical training has allowed me to translate many ISO standards. One of the most important was the ISO regulations concerning Driverless Industrial Trucks, Iso standard on 2020 never translated into Italian language. This has been done thanks to the knowledge of industrial processes and automation 4.0 that I have learned in many years of experience in the field. In these years, I have translated every kind of standards for IEC, CENELEC, CEN, ISO, IECC, SAE, ASME and ETSI systems.
My experience in civil engineering (all subdisciplines), urban planning, real estate, mechanical engineering (subdisciplines - mechanics, structural analysis, drafting and design), allowed me to translate all kinds of technical manuals. Many documents were in Chinese source language and translated into English inaccurately. If you do not have excellent technical abilities, you cannot overcome these impossible tasks.
I am proficient in all types of technology for construction, restorations and conservative restorations, documentation for invitation to tender, specifications and price lists.
I deal with a lot of documentation and technical manuals for the automotive industry. My biggest client is CNH Industrial (the Company Group of Fiat, Iveco, Case and New Holland) an organisation that has a turnover of 28,5 billion dollars.
I deal with about 1 million words a year and I have never delayed a deadline.
