I am a native Arabic speaker with a degree in Translation, English linguistics and literature and I have been based in the UK for the past 20 years, therefore my command of English is excellent. My law translation portfolio includes a wide range of topics like patent law, and general law cases including: extradition, deportation, domestic abuse, benefit fraud, tax evasion, tenancy dispute, and others.

Thanks to my career in journalism I also have a diversified general translation portfolio ranging in topic from political to economic, business, sports, medical and entertainment. I have also done many subtitling projects for Netflix and the UK's Channel 4.

Growing up, I received my education and lived in several Arab countries, namely Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE. Therefore I am equally qualified in all of these regional dialects with all their cultural nuance.

My proficiency and excellent writing style in Arabic allowed me to publish two novels in 2015 and 2016. 

Some of my major translating and interpreting projects have been collaborations with the BBC in London, the UNDP in Cairo, the DPA news agency, in addition to a multitude of smaller projects.
