Hello Miss Diaz Guzman,

I hope you are doing well in the United Kingdom. I got the same project offer on July 11th around the afternoon. I am also suspecting that this is a scam.

I got the project offer from a woman named Alice Gallagher. She identified herself as a project coordinator for Alleghis Transcription, and she also offered me $1,630 Dollars for that project. If you wish, please send me a copy of the job email message offer that you received.

I will also send you a copy of the email message job offer that I received from that company, which looks like a scam job offer. My email address is [email removed]

I also got contacted recently by two people saying they are from Allegis Transcription.

Beware of the emails [email removed] and [email removed]

Same email, same offer. I sent my CV but haven't sent anything else, as it all smelled a little fishy to me.

Red flags all over! But I wonder why you feel that receiving a NDA and a PO before completing the job is also a red flag? This is common (and best) practice…

This morning I received an email from [email removed] pretending to be a Project coordinator for Allegis Transcription. As soon as I saw it came from a gmail account it felt like a red flag, very suspicious when the person is supposedly representing a company.

The second red flag was that they stated they'd pay $1,630 USD flat rate. Now I don't have much professional experience in transcribing but it sounded unusually high for basically 1/2 days of work. They also asked me to complete an NDA and a PO (Purchase order) before completing the job, which was also a bit suspicious.

I was wondering if anyone else has received this email, and just wanted to warn people if they hadn't. Be careful out there!
