If I would have a super power, I would use it to make enough money in 1 day to stop working, and I would start to explore the world hiking, day after day.
By the way, this might be the most stupid question ever asked since my Proz membership. Dzjeez.

Being able to translate and understand several languages is already a superpower. I'm also sick to the back teeth of trying to be more productive, be faster, blah blah blah.

More than just telepathy, I would like to have empathy.
That way, not only I'd read clients' minds, but also know their expectations, intentions, and goals, so I could anticipate their questions or anxieties and wipe any doubt out even before they ask.

I agree, let those machine-like qualities for AI.
I prefer to be human and develop different qualities, that's my strength. I don't care about competing against AI translation; I'm in a different league.

A superpower that could make clients and agencies see the truth: AI translations are unreliable, and only human translators can provide real quality and nuance!
One zap, and suddenly, rates go up, deadlines get reasonable, and everyone respects the profession again.
Just one superpower that could allow me to restore the honor and dignity of human translators would be enough.
