Source text - Arabic وبهذا الأسلوب البارز الذي يمس القلوب ويثير العواطف بما فيه من سلاسة وعذوبة وقدرة على التصوير والتلوين, كتب طه حسين هذه الترجمة الذاتية "الأيام" كما كتب بقية قصصه وكتبه. وقد ترجمت الأيام إلى الانجليزية والفرنسية والروسية والصينية والعبرية.
ومن أهم ما يميز طه حسين في الأيام وغير الأيام : أسلوبه المتموج الزاخر بالنغم فلا تستمتع إلى كلام له, حتى
تعرف بطوابعه المزينة في عباراته الملفوفة التي يأخذ بعضها برقاب بعض في جرس موسيقي بديع.
وكأنه يرى أن الأدب الجدير بهذا الاسم هو الذي يروع السمع كما يروع القلب في آن واحد, وهو لذلك يوفر
لصوته كل جمال ممكن , ومن الغريب انه لا يعدل عبارة يمليها ولا يعد محاضرة قبل إلقائها. فقد أصبح هذا
الأسلوب جزءا من نفسه و عقله, فهو لا يملي ولا يحاضر إلا به . وكثيرا ما تجد فيه الألفاظ المكررة وهو يعمد
إلى ذلك عمدا حتى يستتم ما يريد من إيقاعات وأنغام ينفذ بها إلى وجدان سامعه وقارئه.
Translation - English With the remarkable style which touches the readers' hearts and its elegance and dramatic imagery, Taha Hussain wrote his biography " The Days" as well as many other books and stories. " The Days" was translated to many languages including English, French, Russian, Chinese, and Hebrew.
What distinguishes all his literary pieces is his style with its rhythmic and melodic quality. That anyone who hears his words would be able to recognize his figurative language within the complex forms that stuck to each other in a sublime musical composition.
He sees literature as the text that appeals not only to the heart but also to the ear,
so he always beautifies his voice as possible as he can. Surprisingly, he doesn't
amend his spoken words or even prepare for his lectures. This style became a part
of himself and his mind that he used to use it in all his lectures; in which you will find
the repetition of some lexical items that he uses it intentionally in order to achieve
those rhythms and melodies which are able to sneak into the hearts of his readers
and listeners.

Source text - English The International Bank: the Palestinian economy is facing a deficit in the budget and
in the pension.
"On Thursday, the International Bank has said that foreign aids given to the
Palestinian authority has decreased about 50% in the last three years which imposes intensive pressures on the budget and threatens the risk of the falling of the pension system," according to Reuters.
The Palestinian authority, presented by Mahmoud Abbas, has obviously succeeded in reducing the range of the deficit during the last ten years. It was able to reduce 15% of it to reach 10% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), while the ratio of the
foreign finical aids have fallen at a faster pace.
In 2013, the international donors- in particular, the European Union and the US- gave direct aids, about $1.3b, to support the budget. In this year, it is expected that the number will be less than $700m which will cause a huge finical gap.
Marina Wis, the manager of the west bank and Gaza strip office of the international
bank, said:" the prospects of Palestinian economy bring concern about the fallouts that
will affect dangerously the income, the opportunities, and the luxury of people. It will
not only affect the Palestinian authority's abilities in offering services to the citizens,
but also will lead to bigger economic problems and destabilization."
Generally, the Palestinian economy is expected to rise by approximately 3.5% in the coming years. However, the prospects are vastly different between the west bank, the
center of Palestinian Authority and the besieged coastal Gaza strip, which is
controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) since 2007.
In Gaza, the unemployment rate is 42%. Gaza Strip is struggling to the reconstruction
after a whole month of war with Israel in 2014., but most of the aid commitments were
not fulfilled.
In contrast, the unemployment rate is 18% in the West Bank, and the Palestinian
Authority is doing well in managing in the spend and earning further revenues from taxes and fees.
However, the serious problem is the financial gap. The International Bank
mentioned that the Palestinian Authority is about to reach the maximum average
itemized by the Central Bank of lending from the local banks and that the PA may
delay the pension's money and the private sector's dues in order to close the gap.
The Bank has announced in the latest overseeing reports: " the deserved dues for the
pension system amounts are about $1.6b, and that threatens the significant of the whole
system."
It added: " the deserved arrears for the private sector amounts is $59b which presses
strongly on the ability of the sector to work as usual and causes damage to the economy."
The International Bank commented also that the only way to avoid economic
problems happening to 4.8M Palestinians living in the WB and GS is by the
increasing of the given aids from foreign donors and by offsetting the decline in the
support."
The International Bank has called the Israeli government, which collect a lot of taxes
and fees on behalf of the Palestinians, to find out ways to reduce the general financial
losses and to transfer further tax revenues to the PA.

القدس (رويترز) - قال البنك الدولي يوم الخميس إن المساعدات الأجنبية للسلطة الفلسطينية هبطت بنحو 50 في
المئة في السنوات الثلاث الأخيرة وهو ما يفرض ضغوطا شديدة على الميزانية ويضع نظام المعاشات على شفا
الانهيار.
ونجحت السلطة الفلسطينية برئاسة محمود عباس بدرجة كبيرة في خفض العجز على مدى السنوات العشر
الأخيرة حيث تمكنت من خفضه 15 نقطة مئوية إلى عشرة في المئة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي إلا أن
المساعدات المالية الخارجية تراجعت بوتيرة أسرع.
وفي 2013 قدم المانحون الدوليون - لاسيما الاتحاد الأوروبي والولايات المتحدة - مساعدات مباشرة لدعم
الميزانية بلغت نحو 1.3 مليار دولار. وفي العام الحالي من المتوقع أن يقل هذا الرقم عن 700 مليون دولار بما
يتسبب في فجوة تمويلية كبيرة.
وقالت مارينا ويس مديرة مكتب الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة بالبنك الدولي "آفاق الاقتصاد الفلسطيني تبعث على
القلق وما لذلك من تداعيات وانعكاسات خطيرة على الدخل والفرص والرفاه سوف يؤثر ذلك ليس فقط على
قدرات السلطة الفلسطينية على تقديم الخدمات لمواطنيها (بل) وقد يؤدي أيضا إلى مشكلات اقتصادية أوسع
وزعزعة الاستقرار."
وبشكل عام من المتوقع أن ينمو الاقتصاد الفلسطيني بنحو 3.5 في المئة في الأعوام المقبلة. لكن الآفاق تختلف
اختلافا كبيرا بين الضفة الغربية - التي تتخذها السلطة الفلسطينية مقرا لها - وقطاع غزة الساحلي المحاصر الذي
تسيطر عليه حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس) منذ 2007.
ويبلغ معدل البطالة في غزة 42 في المئة ويكافح القطاع لإعادة البناء بعد حرب مع إسرائيل استمرت شهرا في
2014. ولم يتم الوفاء بكثير من تعهدات المساعدات.
وعلى النقيض يبلغ معدل البطالة في الضفة الغربية 18 في المئة وتبلي السلطة الفلسطينية بلاء حسنا في إدارة
الإنفاق وجني إيرادات إضافية من الرسوم والضرائب.
غير أن المشكلة الخطيرة تظل متمثلة في الفجوة التمويلية. وذكر البنك الدولي أن السلطة الفلسطينية تقترب من
الحد الأقصى للاقتراض من البنوك المحلية الذي حدده البنك المركزي وربما تلجأ إلى تأخير أموال المعاشات
ومستحقات موردي القطاع الخاص لسد الفجوة.
وقال البنك في أحدث تقارير المراقبة "تبلغ المتأخرات المستحقة لنظام المعاشات 1.6 مليار دولار ويهدد ذلك
جدوى هذا النظام بأكمله."
وتابع "تبلغ المتأخرات المستحقة للقطاع الخاص حاليا 590 مليون دولار وهو ما يضغط بشدة على قدرة القطاع
على العمل بالشكل المعتاد ويضر الاقتصاد."
وقال البنك الدولي إن السبيل الوحيد لتفادي حدوث مشكلات اقتصادية أوسع لنحو 4.8 مليون فلسطيني يعيشون
في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة يتمثل في زيادة المانحين الأجانب للمساعدات وتعويض التراجع في الدعم.
ودعا البنك أيضا الحكومة الإسرائيلية –التي تقوم بتحصيل كثير من الضرائب والرسوم نيابة عن الفلسطينيين-
إلى البحث عن وسائل لتقليص خسائر المالية العامة وتحويل مزيد من الإيرادات إلى السلطة الفلسطينية.
