A software package that enables you to easily read the XML code in which RSS feeds are written. Bloglines is currently the most popular feed reader but there are many competitors.

フィードリーダー (Feed Reader) は、ブログやポッドキャスト、ニュースサイトなどが配信するフィード (feed) を取得・講読するためのアプリケーションソフトウェア。フィードのファイルフォーマットとして、以前はRSSしか無かったことから、現在でも「RSSリーダー」、「RSSアグリゲーター (Aggregator)」と呼ばれることが多い。

個人的な意見ですが、フィードリーダーに何よりも求めることは利便性です。特に複数階層管理ができるフィードリーダーは案外少なく、オンラインフィードリーダーでは今まで目にしたことがありません。デスクトップアプリケーションも含め、今までいろいろと試してきましたが最もおすすめできるのが「Feedreader」です。 (おすすめの無料フィードリー�)
