When we’re evaluating companies to invest in, there’s a clear difference between what we like to call the haves and the have-nots.
The haves are companies that have been able to consistently grow net sales and operating profit.
The haves all have a clear growth strategy and are very disciplined in following it.
Their growth rate tends to be lower than that of the haves, and their gross profit margin is often declining.

Se se tratasse de pessoas, diria os ricos vs. os pobres.
Neste caso, talvez empresas sólidas vs. empresas em dificuldades.
