Jan 27, 2012 16:12: Yana Dovgopol changed "Term Context" from "Anti−M1 prime (MEMP1972A) is a humanized afucosylated monoclonal immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) antibody that binds to the M1 prime segment of membrane IgE. The mechanism of action of MEMP1972A is upstream of the IgE inhibition produced by Xolair. The goal of therapy with MEMP1972A is to deplete IgE-switched B cells and plasmablasts leading to a sustained reduction in serum IgE production and the IgE-associated inflammatory disease and symptoms. Given its novel mechanism MEMP1972A holds promise as a potential next generation asthma therapeutic that may be able to induce a more sustained benefit with less frequent dosing than other available therapies. MUCHAS GRACIAS!" to "MUCHAS GRACIAS!"
