neutral marionclarion : almost correct - we say - oat stubble (its a plural word and doesn't have a final "s")

thank you. that's what i thought --just like cereal, etc... but i wasn't sure "oat" was "avena" in Italian, so i double-checked the whole thing and found "stubbles" both in the dictionary (Sansoni)and on the web. sometimes it's better not to double-check!

thanks. yes, as i said, that would've been my first choice, but then i saw a lot of references with the s: http://www.wwt.org.uk/research/monitoring/greenland-barnacle... --so i got confused. thank you!
