Italian term

consumato

Homework / test Italian to English Art/Literary Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
This extract describes a dress on a catwalk.

Un abito...omaggio al piu consumato stereotipo femminile di bellezza...

i know that consumato could be translated as 'worn out', but here I think the connotation is positive - 'most sought after', perhaps?

Thanks in advance

I know it's not quite the same thing but I think it conveys the idea..
