Geographic variation within species is a long-studied phenomenon that is receiving renewed attention with the advent of molecular phylogeography. Many zoologists are now interested in phenotypic adaptation to local environments and phylogeographic differentiation, both genetic and phenotypic, that leads to speciation. Methods for studying clines, assessing correlations between phenotype and environment and measuring between-population differentiation using allele frequencies, phenotypic measurements and molecular markers are expanding (e.g. Endler, 1977; Weir & Cockerham, 1984; Avise, 2000) and are now being combined with geometric morphometrics to study these phenomena in complicated morphological structures, such as teeth, mandibles and skulls.

Bio
This letter expresses my interest in the position of English to Korean translator, interpreter, and editor as a free-lance translator.

One of my strongest qualities is my close connection to the English language and culture. My fluent American English comes as a result of an extended period of living and studying in the United State of America. My graduate studies (Master and Ph.D. degrees) at the University of New York at Buffalo and teaching experience at Alice Lloyd College makes me familiar with idiomatic and formal usage, and highly accomplished at handling technical vocabulary.

My university specialties in Geology and Biology make me particularly skillful in the translation of themes related to the natural sciences. I translate with precision and attention to meaning and style, and have excellent computer skills.

I have 2 years translator experiences with US and South Korea Translation agencies.

Please contact me at 716-200-6526 (cell) or [email protected] at your earliest convenience to let me know your availability to discuss how my skills and experience can help you further your organizational goals. My best rate is 0.05$ per word, but you can offer the best to me.

Thank you for considering me by reading this cover letter.
