"הכל מסתדר לך", היא אמרה בטון של החיים לא הוגנים. "את רוצה משהו והוא קורה, רק את יכולה לעצור בתחנת דלק ולמצוא זוגיות, זה לא עובד ככה אצל אנשים אחרים". העיניים שלה שידרו "גם אני רוצה אבל לי זה לא יקרה".
אני מכירה את ההנחה הזאת, אבל בכל פעם שאני שומעת אותה אני נדהמת מחדש. מבחוץ לא רואים בכמה תחנות דלק עצרתי, כמה פעמים נתתי גז, כמה פעמים זרקו אותי ממכונית נוסעת, כמה עיזים הייתי צריכה לנשק לפני ש"הכל הסתדר לי".
זה לא שאני מבקשת משהו והוא קורה מעצמו. אני עושה דברים בשביל שזה יקרה, לפעמים זה קורה תוך שבוע ולפעמים תוך ארבעים שנה, אבל אם אני צריכה לשים את האצבע על הסיבה המדויקת שבגללה זה קורה, אז האצבע מתבייתת על האמונה שבסוף הכל מסתדר.
כשהייתי חולה אבא היה אומר לי "מה שלא עובר בשבוע עובר בשבעה ימים". כשדברים הלכו נורא ואיום הוא היה אומר: "סוף טוב הכל טוב ואם לא הכל טוב סימן שזה לא הסוף". האמונה הזאת, שדברים מסתדרים בסופו של דבר, היא זו שמאירה לי את דרכי בעולם.

“Everything always works out for you,” she said in a tone that cried out: “Life’s not fair!!!!”
"Only you are able to find a relationship in a gas station. It doesn't work that way for other people!"
I've heard this kind of comment before, but every time I hear it, I am amazed. From looking at me, you have no idea how many gas stations I had to stop at to find my "one", how much "gas" I had to use to find him, how many times I was thrown from a moving car, so to speak, or how many frogs I had to kiss before "everything worked out for me."
It's not like I ask for something and it appears out of nowhere. I make an effort, and then sometimes things happen in a week, sometimes in forty years. If I have to put my finger on the exact reason why things work out, my finger would point to my belief that in the end, everything works out.
When I got sick as a little girl, my dad would tell me "What doesn't heal in a week, heals in seven days." When things were awful he would say, "All's well that ends well, and if not well, it's a sign that it's not the end." This faith that things will work out in the end is what lights my path in the world.

צדק הוא כוכב הלכת הגדול ביותר במערכת השמש שלנו. בשנים האחרונות הוא עומד במוקד של מחקרים רבים, בעיקר על בסיס ממצאים של החללית האמריקנית ג'ונו, המקיפה אותו מאז 2016. שורת מחקרים המתפרסמת כעת מגלה שפע של מידע חדש על האטמוספרה של ענק הגזים, וגם מוצאת קשר מפתיע למבנה האטמוספרה של כוכב הלכת הסלעי והקטן שלנו.
הכתם האדום הגדול על צדק הוא אחד מסימני ההיכר הבולטים של כוכב הלכת. בפועל, מה שנראה כמו עין אדומה בין קווי העננים הצבעוניים אינו אלא סופת ציקלון ענקית, או ליתר דיוק אנטי-ציקלון מבחינת כיוון הסיבוב שלה. כמה ענקית? קוטרה של הסופה כ-16 אלף קילומטרים, כלומר יותר מקוטרו של כדור הארץ כולו. מהירות הרוחות שלה נאמדת ב-100 מטר לשנייה (360 קמ"ש), הרבה יותר מאשר סופת הוריקן בדרגה 5 על כדור הארץ.
הסופה האדומה על צדק משתוללת כבר מאות שנים, ואולי הרבה יותר. היא מתועדת כנראה כבר בציורים של האסטרונום האיטלקי ג'ובני קסיני (Cassini) מ-1665, ותצפיות ודאיות יותר מאמתות את קיומה הרציף במאתיים השנים האחרונות.

Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. In recent years, it has been the focus of much research, mostly based on findings from the American spacecraft Juno, which has been orbiting the planet since 2016. A series of studies recently published reveal a wealth of new information about the atmosphere of the gas giant, and also finds a surprising connection to the atmosphere of our small, terrestrial planet.
The Great Red Spot on Jupiter is one of the planet's most recognizable features. In practice, what looks like a red eye between the colored cloud lines is nothing but a huge cyclone (in more precise terms, it is called an anticyclone, due to the direction of its spin).
How huge? The diameter of the storm is about 16,000 kilometers, which is more than the diameter of the entire earth. Its wind speed is estimated at 100 meters per second (360 km/h), much faster than a Category 5 hurricane on Earth.
The red storm on Jupiter has been raging for centuries, and perhaps much longer. It was apparently documented in the drawings of the Italian astronomer Cassini in the year 1665, and more precise observations have verified its continuous existence for the last two hundred years
The question of when the storm came into existence is just one of a long series of questions that scientists have not yet been able to answer. Other questions include why the storm appears red, why its shape changes over time from a flattened to more circular shape, and how deep the storm lies within Jupiter's dynamic atmosphere, which extends 3,000 kilometers below the visible cloud layer. A new study led by an Israeli researcher answers at least the last question, and indicates that the depth of the storm is about 500 kilometers.
