I graduated from Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand (Law) in 1987, trained as a lawyer and worked in Bangkok for 10 years specialised in government liaison; Immigration services, work permits, company's registration. Stock exchange, contracts, etc

In Bangkok, I also did teaching; both English and Thai (English to the company’s Thai staff and Thai to expat directors) 

I have been working and living in Sheffield since 1997, in the beginning as a voluntary interpreter, freelance translator and proofreading, also worked part time in shops & restaurants

From March 2008, My part time job is a pharmacy dispenser -(NVQ2 pharmacy service) for Boots & now for Well pharmacy and at the same time I have worked as a professional freelance Thai interpreter alongside my pharmacy work.

In Sheffield and Yorkshire I worked extensively for Scais (Sheffield community Access & Interpreting Services), and Language Line services, and some cases for Language Empire, talking heads, the bigword, etc. My main interpreting sessions are working in hospitals, GP, dental practices, and with solicitors, social workers etc 

Interpreting training and experiences: mental health awareness, working with domestic and sexual abused. (trained by Scais & Language Line) hospital procedures, child birth, operation, dental practices, GP, immigration, prison, solicitors, registration, marriage, divorce, social workers, medical, pharmaceutical etc.

Extensive travelling (by train): Leeds, Bradford, Liverpool, Doncaster, Hull, Nottingham, London etc. I am now reducing interpreting work. I just quit working for my main interpreting agency in order to spend time more in pharmacy services and reducing my traveling to interpreting sessions.

I will only work as a freelance Thai interpreting 1 -2 days a week by appointment just to help people who really need this service.
