I'm a native Finnish translator. I mainly work from Eng to Fin and vice versa. I can also translate from Swedish into Finnish. I graduated in 2013 from the University of Turku with English translation as my major. Minors included: literature, Finnish, East and Southeast Asia studies, creative writing and information studies. I did some translation work already during my studies, so I have more experience than just just the work I have done after graduating.

What kind of translations have I done? I have done varying translation assignments from light advertising materials, game translations and applications to heavier terminology texts like construction tenders, contracts and presentations for the automotive industry. My favorite jobs to do are game translations, media texts and different types of marketing texts. I also like subtitling very much and I'm quite familiar with it as well.

I mainly use MemoQ in my translation work. I am also familiar with Trados products and can use most of their studios if the client can provide access, but I do not own any Trados products. I'm also familiar with Memsource.
