Bio
I specialize in technical and medical translation, but also do commercial and legal texts as well as government reports.

Target languages are English and Norwegian. Source languages are English, Norwegian, Danish, German, Spanish, amd Portuguese.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics (with honors) from the University of Maryland, USA (1968).

At the age of 7, I was trilingual (English, Norwegian and Dutch) and, with an affinity for languages, I have been translating and acting as interpreter in various capacities since I was a child. My freelance translation experience has run parallel with my careers as engineer offshore in the North Sea and Sahara, translator at a Norwegian translation firm, systems analyst with a major Danish software company for nearly a decade, and homeopath since the early 90's in Denmark, later on the Costa del Sol, Spain, and currently in Caracas, Venezuela.

I have translated a wide diversity of material both commercial and technical, including several technical books for Norwegian publishers (software, physics).
